What the rest of them were thinking during Seen & Unseen...

Hawk: [Intrigued by the radio play format (has never heard of audiobooks)]

Liya: [Furious internal dialogue about how weird it is that Hawk and Numair are dating]

Yoshi: [Generally just self-conscious of Numair's presence]

Teige: [Realizing he is an infinite distance from home on an alien planet witnessing a cultural milestone with the head of a country and feeling REAL weird about it]

Vlad: [Genuinely fascinated by the translation choices being made]

Where was Parker during KYSO?

Parker: "I got a hot date! ...We didn't have much in common as it turns out. The sex was good tho."

Teige and Shinobu finally make a connection...

Shinobu: [Loves to cook; eating a hand pie of some kind and enjoying it]

Teige: [Loves to bake; eating a bowl of some kind and enjoying it]

Yoshi: [Loves to eat the cooking and baking; has a pie in one hand and a bowl in the other]

...but:

Shinobu: [mildly, to Yoshi] "You should date Teige instead of Liya. I respect a man who can bake."

Yoshi: "Wh--First of all--"

Teige: Er, I'm dating someone. And I like men. And I'm twenty-six.

Hawk meets Helly (before the Arc 1 epilogue):

[Liya is too short for this interaction and only the top of her head is visible at Hawk's elbow.]

Hawk: [holding out his hand] "Uh, I've heard a lot about you from Liya."

Helly: [cheerfully] "And I've heard a lot about you from Liya!"

[Helly goes to shake Hawk's hand, but grips it VERY HARD and leans in close, nir smile fading.]

Helly: "And I've also heard a lot about you from Cynn Numair."

[Ne does not explain and instead smiles again and shakes Hawk's hand, leaving both Hawk and Liya looking puzzled.]

(They are on good terms now.)
