"Speaking of, are your folks still gonna move here to Escalus?" Hawk asked, as Teige picked up one of the fresh mugs. "That was the plan, waren't it?"

He blew the heavy mist from the top of his mug gently while Teige considered. "It was the plan," Teige replied, "When I was going to join the Order and live in Enodia. Enodia's enough like Earth that it would've been an easy move."

He scratched a spot under his jawline; the joviality had disappeared from his face. He continued, "But Ma isn't as keen on Escalus. It'd be a huge change, right. And two of my sisters are still in school...not to mention, bringing family out on a R.I.T. visa...and as for R.I.T., I donno...plans change, don't they...?"

He trailed off, lifting the mug to his muzzle--and then as suddenly as it had come, the concern was gone, and he was grinning again, waving his free hand dismissively. "Aah, never mind that!"
