"Hello Teige, I'm here!"
Teige glanced up to see Yoshi in the doorway of the kitchen, a large bundle slung over her shoulder. He turned away from the stove and the steaming pot on it, saying pleasantly, "Hey, Yoshi! I've just set the roots to boil. I see you've brought your wardrobe."
"Ah, yes," Yoshi agreed, somewhat sheepishly. "I hoped I could spell most of my clothes in one sitting."
"Could do," Teige said, as she set the bag down and took a seat at the dining table. "Did you bring the thread?"
"Yes, and I mordanted it with salt this morning."
"'Atta girl."
"Who's made this cake?" she asked, indicating the one sitting on the dining table. It was nothing fancy, a round cake with a simple glaze. "It looks lovely."
"Oh, er, I did," Teige answered, flushing self-consciously. "Have some."
