"No, no," Teige said, and rolled back, pillowing his head on his arms. "Talking's good. I could do with more talking out of you."

Hawk surveyed him for a moment, finishing the last of his burger, before saying slowly, "All right...in that case, what'd you mean earlier? When you said I was a halfbreed?

Teige shot him a look. For a moment neither of them said anything.
