Often, a way to place the blame on a particular group for some failing that the powerful are responsible for. It relies on lies and fearmongering--things that hopefully won't work well in Aetheri, where a third of spirits are truth seers. Instead, I hope that by broadcasting these hearings, everyone will realize where the blame actually lies--and that they have more in common than they suppose. And in turn, convert our bitterness and apathy into compassionate rage and action. We have the chance to learn every lesson from countries that are already in the mass communication age. And we have every tool to make a better future for ourselves. I think that's very exciting."
